WHAT ETC DO
Wedding Events ETC Events was started in 2007 by Debbie Montague who has been involved in Wedding and Event Planning for 20 years in KZN and around the country. She is passionate about Weddings and says ‘there is nothing as beautiful as a stress-free, glowing bride on her Wedding day. As different as each bride is, so every wedding is unique, but all deserve the same professional and dedicated co-ordination and planning leading up to and during the Wedding Day with ETC Events provides.
ETC Events provides a cost-effective service to brides that not only eases the stress of planning a Wedding but also offers a wealth of experience, but still involving the Bride in every aspect of the planning process.
We also offer an in-house stationery service which includes Invitations, menus, place cards, table seating, programs, favours etc… to suit your theme and décor. As all this Debbie is an experienced floral artist and also does Décor and flowers for our brides thereby giving a huge cost saving and peace of mind that ETC Events will be handling all aspects of the Wedding, ensuring everything reflects your vision. These services are all quoted separately following a meeting to establish what is required.

Corporate Events ETC Events was started in 2007 by Debbie Montague who has been involved in Event Planning for 20 years in KZN and around the country. ETC Events is a diverse event management company that manages, coordinates, and plans everything from East Coast Radio Durban Day with 18 000 people, GIBS Executive Breakfast of 500 through to Rugby World Cup Villages and Marquee Villages at the Durban July.

ABOUT ETC Events
Debbie Montague is the owner of ETC EVENTS and has been involved in Wedding and Event Planning for 15 years in KZN and around the Country. She is passionate about Weddings and says there is nothing quite like a Stress-free, Glowing Bride ! she herself has been married for 14 years and has 2 boys aged 11 and 7 who keep her on her toes!
Debbie says: “With a background in both Advertising and Marketing, Events were part of my portfolio, but when the Rugby World Cup 1995 came around, I had realised that Events were my passion. Weddings happened by accident when my best friend asked me to help her plan her wedding in South Africa, as she was based in the UK and was only able to get 2 weeks leave to come out to South Africa and get married.
Since then I have planned hundreds of weddings, each one so very different and beautiful in their own way. I absolutely cherish the honour of being able to work closely with my Brides to create the Wedding of their dreams. We have worked with Brides from as close as down the road to New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and Dubai and from weddings of 6 people to weddings of 250 people. Email and skype are our friends and we are in constant communication with our brides, making sure that every single aspect of their wedding is perfect and exactly what they want.
With over 15 years of planning Weddings, I do feel that the experience that I have adds value to my Brides and saves both time and money, not to mention the unnecessary stress that everyone seems to think just goes hand in hand with planning Weddings.
I am very proud of the fact that my Bridal couples are extremely relaxed and stress-free both during the planning process and on their Wedding Day!
