The business began as a mobile repair service in 2000, after some time in operation, the business grew to be a one-stop workshop for repairing commercial vehicles. Due to the nature of our business, we saw the demand for towing services, so we decided to start a 24 hour towing and recovery division. We have branches in Benoni, Melmoth in KwaZulu Natal, and Makuti in Zimbabwe.
We strive to make our customers feel like part of our friendly family. We develop strong relationships and trust with our clients by going all out to make sure that their vehicles are repaired and ready to run as quickly as practically possible. For our regular customers, we develop payment plans for major repairs.

DPT is one of the few repair centres that specialise in heavy-duty truck and trailer wiring for American truck brands. We are experts in vehicle computer diagnostics and truck wiring harness repairs and troubleshooting for a wide range of harness and transmission systems, including Cummins, CAT, Detroit Diesel, Autoshift, and Ultrashift.
Service Exchange Solutions
We perform engine and gearbox exchange solutions for American trucks namely Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Cat, Freightliner, and International. We also exchange a wide range of mechanical units, including Rockwell diffs, Eaton Fuller gearboxes, cylinder heads, turbochargers, starters, alternators, compressors, clutch kits, air valves, and brake boosters.

TRUCK TOWING & RECOVERY
24-hour towing and recovery service for heavy-duty vehicles DPT specialises in heavy-duty truck towing and recovery.
We offer a 24-hour, 7 days week service throughout Southern Africa, including South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mozambique. If you appoint DPT to do the repairs on your truck, we will tow your truck to our workshop at a reduced rate. Load protection and recovery and load clean up. We can lift, reposition, or salvage your load and relocate it. We offer load protection, deploying armed guards to protect your valuable cargo. We also offer load clean-up services to ensure that the area is left clean and safe as quickly as possible, in compliance with road traffic regulations. We don’t deal with hazardous materials, however, but we will gladly refer you to a supplier who specialises in this work. State-of-the-art towing equipment. We use state of the art wreckers and heavy winching equipment to handle the most complex recovery operations. Mountain passes, busy highways, remote locations, bad weather, extreme heat, torrential rain – we’ve been dealing with every possible eventuality since 2004.
